The Entwistle Collection has aimed to be as historically accurate as possible. Many hours have gone into researching the collection. However, there is so much of the collection's story that is still to be unearthed.The identities of the photographed BCOF soldiers and Japanese citizens remain unknown, locations are still hard to pinpoint.
While the Collection will be updated when information appears, the Entwistle Collection's curator wishes to encourage historians of every background to share their knowledge and research regarding the BCOF.
If you know one of the faces in these images, know a location not specified, or even know a naval ship's name and model, the Entwistle Collection wants to know. Otherwise, if you have any questions on the BCOF, Occupation of Japan or the Collection itself, feel free to contact our curator who will happily answer any questions you have.
